The Collier County Museum is located just five minutes east of downtown Naples, the Collier County Museum offers a wide variety of things to see and do. 10,000 years of Southwest Florida’s unique history comes alive as you learn about the mastodons and saber cats that roamed the land, in addition to the Calusa and Seminole Indians and pioneers that settled locally.
Visit the museum’s five-acre historical park and botanical gardens and enjoy seeing their orchid house, two early Naples cottages, a logging locomotive and swamp buggies. Their exhibits even include a genuine Sherman tank. The Collier County Museum was established in 1978.
